We are seeking part-time summer and fall interns to assist with editorial, research, and production tasks.
Primary responsibilities include:
Fact-checking and editorial review of articles published by Bauer and Goldsmith.
Conducting research on executive power issues and related topics for Bauer and Goldsmith as needed.
Assisting with the “Roundup”—a weekday newsletter summarizing news and relevant commentary related to executive power. Interns will help identify key stories and commentary, evaluate their relevance, and help write copy for the Roundup.
Video recording and light video editing of chats between Bauer and Goldsmith about executive power news and analysis.
Ideal candidates will have strong research, writing, and editing skills, and a capacity for close attention to detail. Demonstrated interest in executive power issues is preferred but not required.
These positions are remote and unpaid, and they are only open to current law students (including 3Ls). We are posting for positions this summer (May to mid-August) and fall (mid-August to December), with flexibility on precise start and end dates. Interns will be expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
To apply, please submit a resume, a brief statement of interest (<300 words), and your availability to ex.functions@gmail.com. Please indicate whether you are applying for a summer or fall position, or both, in the subject of the email in which you send your application and on the top of your statement of interest. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis beginning today.
