Judge Indira Talwani (D. Mass.) on Monday issued a preliminary injunction blocking the Trump Administration from enforcing Section 71113 of the 2025 Reconciliation Act, which imposes a one-year ban on Medicaid reimbursements to any health care nonprofit that offers abortion services and received more than $800,000 in Medicaid funding in 2023.
